Exhibitions

What qualifies as an exhibition to be included in this list? Here’s my current working definition:
An exhibition displays artwork from a variety of people who have submitted their work before the deadline. Exhibitions generally are housed indoors and last several weeks, but a short event like the Lake Oswego exhibition in 2009 would also qualify. To be included in this list, exhibitions need to a) focus on mosaic art, b) have a special invitation for mosaic artists from the organizer, or c) be unique and need many more entries of mosaic art (like ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, MI, and the Annual Smithsonian Craft Show in Washington, DC). In general, a weekend festival where the artist has to staff a booth will not be listed here unless it is juried and has significant status like the Smithsonian Craft Show.
